Leading perfumers Firmenich – Olivier Cresp (Olivier CRESP) and Jacques Cavalier (Jacques Cavallier) – reunited in the duo to create for the legendary French brand LANCOME sensual and elegant fragrance, the interpretation of red. This idea was embodied in a spicy, woody-floral composition of Magnifique, with a very peculiar, and complex, mysterious sound.
Introduction Magnifiqueis based on warm notes of saffron spice mixed with a sweet-fruit chord of the essence of the Bulgarian rose, the intoxicating beauty of which anticipates the “flower banquet” gathered from the absolute of the May Grass rose and jasmine-sambas in the “heart” of the fragrance.
